Trust us. It's happened before.
Even the easiest solutions can be overlooked.

With that in mind, we'd like to risk insulting your intelligence for a moment, and ask that you check the following things before you contact us for support:

  • Is your USB plugged in properly?
    • The USB drive light should be on constant or flashing if it's processing data.
  • Do you have the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0? You can check here:

Start-> Control Panel-> Add or Remove Programs.
    Some computers require you to select Remove Programs.
       ->Sort Programs by Name.
          ->Look for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

If you do not list it, you can download it to your PC for free from www.microsoft.com. After you download the program, you must install it.
  • Are you trying to use DoxNow on a Macintosh computer, or otherwise unsupported system?
    • DoxNow works on PCs with Windows 2000 or above.
  • Do you have an unconnected drive? (i.e., if you have an unconnected drive on a laptop that only works when connected to a network)
      With any USB drive, Microsoft sometimes assigns the USB drive the same letter as the unconnected network drive, and therefore the U3 Launch Pad will not auto load. Try to re-insert the USB drive. If it is not assigned a new letter, delete the connection to the network drive and assign it a different letter (recommended: Q to Z).
  • Do you have DoxNow running?
      You can only have one version of DoxNow running at a time. You can check here:
->Control + Alt + Delete.
    ->Open Task Manager.
       ->Click the Processes Tab & sort by Name
          ->Look for DoxNowDMS.exe.
->If it is on the list, click on it and select End Process.
